I am sitting here in Lethbridge, wishing I was in Calgary for the rock this weekend. Ex-girlfriends new band is playing. It would be nice to see her, and the band as I have heard they are good. There are three people in my bed, yet I sit in a chair with my back to them. Good times in lethbridge. New band starting up, called -dead stars burn bright- with Chris. Should be good, and far from the lameness of punk.

Well it's been a while since I've rambled anything on here. I'm pretty boring so I don't have much to say, but I would like to say that I love rock and roll. Put another dime in the jukebox baby. Oh and check out WMH Productions new snowboard video called OK ALRIGHT if you get a chance. It's really rad and my name's in the credits. Boo Ya.

Well, we played our first show with Adam, our new bassist. Lets just say, it went VERY well. Adam has only played bass for two weeks, and he did MUCH better then I did on my first RH show, and I had been playing guitar for YEARS. Muchos awesomeness. We leave for tour in a week, and I'm excited as hell. By the way, I'm in love with yourbleedingheart. Those guys are going to have Calgary's punk scene by the nuts soon. Amazing band, can't wait to hear the record. Sexy as hell, too.

Wanna buy a lamicoid? These are the best damn lamicoids on the market. Why are they the best you ask? Because they are made from the blood and sweat of yours truly and every ounce of my Racing Home love is put into them. These lamicoids are soo great that they will actually be providing my tour money so I don't go hungry over 5 weeks. That's right they're pretty amazing. I love them with all my heart and so should you. Thanks for reading this pile of useless drivel, sorry you can't have those two minutes back.

NEVER work in a kitchen while trying to book a tour. Besides the fact that it is hindering my booking of this tour, it is a CRAP job. If anyone can recommend somewhere to work (keep your eyes open for "now hiring" signs for us), please email me or Phil, we both need jobs STAT. I may have to resort to pumping gas......
- Matt Home.

Last nigt was a fucking blast. Billy and the Lost Boyeeez and the Slaveco guys were just fantasmo-rad. Can't wait to hang out again soon.
- Matt Home.

10 pages in 4 hours? man, next year I WILL KEEP UP IN SCHOOL. I need a job, fucking work. I am not sure if I am a socialist, or just really lazy. You tell me.
- Philthy

I hope to see you all at the show on sunday...even though it is in Lethbridge. If you won't be there, do yourselves a favor and download some tunes at www.billyandthelostboys.com. I'm not just plugging them because we're playing with them, I honestly think they're fucking fantastic. I ate nothing but fast food for four days straight. We're getting a new trailer. We're fixing up our van. We're getting merch soon. Is this a lame enough ramble for you?
- Matt Home

Holy shit!!!! SNFU!! One of my fav bands or all time and who is playing with them? Racing Home mother fuckers.
- Phil

It's 2:00am on a Monday (well, Tuesday now I guess). I can't see straight. I'm listening to Flock of Seagulls and loving it. Mount Royal is a trap, stay away, never go there (at least the Electronic Publishing Program). It's making me crazy. I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna start wearing women's undergarments if it doesn't end soon. Can we go on tour yet?
- Trav

Umm, I was slightly under the influence of alcoholic beverages when I wrote that last one.
- Matt Home.

Phil, this is for you, pal. Remember, life is like that. Sometimes you are on top with the most amazing people around you, and you can't imagine life being better. And then you are on the bottom, and yah cant even find any fun. I love yah.
- Matt Home.

Love...it is a motherfucker.
- Phil

The show last night ruled. Thanks to Joshua and Kortnay for putting us on the bill. I missed a lot of backups, my underwear stuck out a lot, and I broke a string during the second last song, but it was nonetheless a good set. Oh, and someone called us Drive By Punch.
- MattHome - March 14

If y'all want to hear some great, soothing acoustic music to recover from the weekend with, go to Classic Jacks on Monday, the 15th to see the talented Whitney Reimer play. She rules and even sang some backups on the new album.

Very true Phil, very true. Booking a tour is much tougher than expected. It's slow, and tedious, and things get hairy. Honestly, I see at least 800000 dead links a day, and run into a lot of bands who I once thought were cool who are really just fucking deadbeats. They will remain nameless. Of course, we run into a few who I'm sure we will remain close "buddy bands" with for a long time. You know who you are.

"The nature of people demands that most of them be engaged in the most frivolous possible activities?like making money." Marshall McLuhan. As we move forward into this headache known as tour booking, the true friends show their smiling faces, while the greedy selfish quasi-"punk" bands abandon the very idea of community as they scramble to hide their precious information. Karma my friends, it will soon be coming for you.
- Philly

We have started booking our tour and as usual, we have come across a million dead links and a million dead ends, so if you know someone in your city that would like to help us out, please drop us a line.
- Philthy

one time, I did it with a dead dude.
- Phil

So I saw a dead guy the other day. As I passed through security at the Calgary International Airport (YYC), there were a bunch of people standing around. They looked unhappy. Really unhappy. There was a man lying on a bench, and a paramedic was putting away electroshock paddles. The stretcher would not be needed right away, and it just sat there waiting for the body. A woman was crying. I slipped on the Ryan Adams, and tried to forget what I had just witnessed. Not a good thing to stumble apon at six am.
